El Niño Delivers… Mavericks Surf Contest is On

After being postponed a week because it conflicted with the Super Bowl, watch 24 of the world’s best surfers compete in the 2016 Mavericks Invitational Surf Contest which is scheduled for Friday, February 16, 2016 at Pillar Point in Half Moon Bay if conditions remain good. A big swell is forecast for upwards of 20 feet.

How to Watch Mavericks
Due to dangerous conditions on the beach, there is no public access to the beach or bluffs to watch the surfing directly.

Unfortunately for 2016 no official partywith jumbo TVs in Half Moon Bay and no watch party at AT&T Park
