Flooding Closes Stern Grove, Cancels Final Concert of 2021
Oh no… Due to a nearby ruptured water main, the east end of Stern Grove will be closed until further notice while San Francisco Public Works and SF Water, Power, Sewer (SFPUC) fix the problem.
East End of Stern Grove Closed & Stern Grove Festival Cancelled
The east end of Stern Grove will be closed until further notice due to the damage sustained from a ruptured water main earlier this week. Pine Lake and its dog play area on the west end of the park have reopened for use.
Sadly, the damage is catastrophic; the Grove is closed until further notice, and unfortunately, this also means that the final Stern Grove concert of the season with Tower of Power and Too $hort on Sunday, August 29, 2021 has been cancelled.
Stay tuned for when Stern Grove is able to reopen.
Reminder: Stern Grove and Pine Lake remain closed until further notice due to yesterday’s ruptured water main. Stay tuned for when we are able to reopen the park. pic.twitter.com/EgXz4kz0WO
