CUESA and the USBG SF are collaborating on a new project called Feed Hospitality to provide free boxes of fresh, healthy produce to members of our hospitality community who are out of work while supporting local farmers who have lost high-volume restaurant business.

Support our hospitality community and local farms through the COVID-19 crisis. Help them feed the people who feed us, so we can weather this crisis and come out stronger together.

How you can help: Donate now. Your tax-deductible donation of $25 directly pays for one weeks’ worth of fresh, healthy produce for a hospitality worker and their family, while supporting local farms. Donate today and your gift will be matched so you”ll provide double the help. See the details.

So far, Feed Hospitality has been funded through contributions from 20 spirit companies. With a generous donation of $15,000 plus an additional $15,000 matching grant from the Bay Area-based Hangar 1 Vodka, CUESA is launching a public fundraising campaign to meet that $15,000 match and raise a total of $45,000 by June 30. This will provide 1,125 fresh produce boxes for unemployed hospitality workers and their families.
