Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is Back April 3

Amusement Parks are back, but limited to 15% capacity and only California residents allowed for now.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom announced today that they are planning to reopen the Vallejo amusement park to the general public on April 3, 2021. The park opens for members and season pass holders on April 1.

For now, only California residents will be allowed to visit the park. Any out-of-state residents will not be allowed to buy or reserve a ticket under all of the current tier categories.

Discovery Kingdom is located in Solano County which is currently in the “red” tier for COVID reopenings in California. Rules as of April 1st for amusement parks in the red tier will limit capacity to 15%. Once a county is in the “orange” tier then capacity can rise to 25%. Under the “yellow” tier, amusement parks can allow 35% capacity.
