Free $5 Target Gift Card w/ Vaccine
Thanks to KRON4 for sharing the update that Target has $5 coupons for guests who receive their Covid-19 vaccine in stores.
Here’s How to Get Your Free $5 Target Gift Card
All U.S. adults are now eligible to get their COVID-19 vaccine — and now it’s even easier for you to get yours. We’re offering vaccine appointments at nearly all CVS at Target locations. And bonus: we’re offering guests and team members a $5 Target coupon when they receive a CVS at Target-administered COVID-19 vaccination.
Preparing for your visit
Visit CVS.com to check availability and schedule your COVID-19 vaccine appointment (you can schedule your second dose at the same time, if applicable). After you receive your vaccine you’ll get a $5 Target coupon to spend on in-store purchases of $5 or more.
Prioritizing your care and safety
The health and safety of our guests and team members is always our No. 1 focus. Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve increased our safety and disinfecting measures and enhanced team member pay and benefits. Once vaccinations began rolling out, we worked to remove barriers by providing pay to U.S. hourly team members to get their vaccines and free Lyft rides (up to $15 each way) to get to and from their appointments. And most recently, Target donated $500,000 to UNICEF USA in support of our teams and their communities in India during this spring’s ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases.
Teaming up for access and education
We continue to support public vaccination efforts, like the Health Action Alliance and the Ad Council’s campaign, which are focused on increasing confidence in the vaccine and reaching communities of color hit particularly hard during the pandemic. We’ve also committed $5 million to help improve equitable access to vaccines for underserved communities. That includes $1 million to local and national nonprofits offering access to free and discounted rides to vaccination appointments through Lyft’s Universal Vaccine Access campaign, and $2.5 million to help expand the bandwidth of trusted organizations in local communities nationwide to assist with better access to vaccine services.
