BART is offering a special promotion to try to boost ridership.
Pledge to commute by BART at least one day a week and get $50 in Clipper funds.
The Jumpstart Your BART campaign says:
Pledge to ride BART at least one day a week in place of a drive-alone trip and you could be eligible to Jumpstart Your BART. Reload your Clipper card with this special one-time $50 incentive offer from 511 Contra Costa.
Who is eligible for the incentive?
You are eligible if you:
- Live or work in Contra Costa County, and;
- Your commute includes a BART trip that starts or ends at a Contra Costa County BART station, and;
- You are 18 years of age or older, and;
- You would otherwise drive alone or use Uber/Lyft for your commute trip, and;
- Pledge to ride BART at least one day a week, and:
- Agree to complete a brief program follow-up survey, and;
- Agree to receive email communications from 511CC – opt out at any time.
What are the program rules?
- One incentive is available per person and up to two per household.
- 511 Contra Costa reserves the right to make changes to or terminate this program at any time without prior notification.
- Incentive is available until funding is exhausted.
