Futuristic R&B star and probable goddess Janelle Monáe is performing a free outdoor lunchtime concert at Justin Herman Plaza on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 12:30pm.

And you can think Mark Benioff, founder of local tech giant Sales Force, who brings in the singer to do her thing for the masses on the Embarcadero to celebrate the firm’s 15th birthday.
