Free Pier Crabbing

Update: All reservations for March through May 2014 are sold out. You’ll have to wait until May 1st to make reservations for later in the summer.

Come to Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge to try your hand at Pier Crabbing in the San Francisco Bay on alternating Saturdays from March through October.

In this weekly free class, National Park Service workers will teach you how to use the nets, discuss bait and regulations, and then loan you the equipment let you try your luck on the Fort Point pier.

How to RSVP for 2014 season:

  • SOLD OUTMarch through May 2014 – First day to RSVP: March 1, 2014. Do not call before March 1st.
  • June through October 2014  – First day to RSVP: May 1, 2014. Do not call before May 1st.
