Grab some German lager and grub on traditional German food at communal picnic tables just like in Munich, plus watch a Stein Holding Contest at FunCheap’s Oktoberfest party at SoMa StrEat Food Park on Saturday, October 19, 2013.

GERMAN BEER SPECIALS ($3 Pints / $13 Pitchers)
German & German-style beers Karl Strauss Oktoberfest, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Bitburger German Pilsner, & Kostritzer German Black Lager.

STEIN HOLDING COMPETITION – 2 pm
Prizes for the people who can hold up their beer steins the longest. The world record is 20 minutes, 19 seconds.

SAUSAGE TOSSING CONTEST
You’ll have to come by to see what this is all about.

FOOD TRUCKS
Eat at the Little Red Riding Truck, serving German food like schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerkraut, bacon-fried potatoes and more.  Plus many of the other trucks will serve German-inspired dishes.
