Over the past few months Yahoo has pit neighborhood vs. neighborhood with giant video games installed in 20 bus stops all over the city.

The neighborhood that scored the most points in the competition that ended Friday was North Beach (beating out the Tenderloin) As their reward the neighborhood gets to host a free rock block party with OK Go.

Although the party takes place in North Beach, the entire city is invited to this rooftop concert and block party at the SF Art Institute complete with street food and carnival games (games are based on Yahoo apps so although it will be fun, dont’ for a second think you’re not being marketed to) f

  • Doors open at 3:30pm, Concert doors open at 5:30pm – but come early, since only the first 800 people will get wristbands to the show.
  • Food Vendors include Namu, El Porteno and City Smoke House (street food available for purchase, but there will be free popcorn and hot cocoa)
