A free day celebrating museums’ brand new Dogpatch location
By - posted 4/3/2013 No Comment

The Museum of Craft & Design is finally opening its doors to the public during a free Grand Opening community celebration at their permanent location in the Dogpatch on April 6, 2013.

Rather than featuring paintings or traditional sculpture, the Museum showcases other types of artwork that range from furniture, kinetic sculptures, jewelry, even hanging wired jellyfish and strange handcrafted lawn-chair hot rods.

Admission is free all day and the schedule includes an opening ceremony, food trucks and family activities.
