The Great San Francisco Hike

Come celebrate the anniversary of the fantastic San Francisco group hikes led by Jill Katz with a challenging but casual 6 mile hike exploring some amazing peaks, and then celebrate with tasty beverages.

The Great San Francisco Hike
“Come Hike” 4-Year Anniversary
Saturday, August 29, 2015 | 1-4 pm
Meeting Location: Parnassus and Willard Streets (Bus Stop)
FREE (bring cash for drinks)

You’ll begin in Cole Valley on the corner of Parnassus and Willard Street.

Mt Sutro (Peak 1)
Hike into Mt Sutro Forest (Peak #1 and find the fairy gates), cross Claredon Avenue to Twin Peaks Reservoir and Mt Sutro Tower toward the top of Twin Peaks Summit (usually very windy but an amazing view of the entire city).

Twin Peaks (Peaks 2 and 3)
You will hike both peaks of the Twins (Peak #2 & #3).

Tank Hill (Peak 4)
You will then go down the long and winding road and visit Tank Hill Park (Peak #4).

Corona Heights Park (Peak 5)
As a bonus, you will check out Corona Heights Park and then go to Beercade on Market Street to celebrate their awesomeness 4-ness.
