Someone’s not happy about getting a wax figure made at Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds announces that irreverent Internet sensation Grumpy Cat will be the first ever cat to be immortalized in the attraction’s history.
“This is truly an honor,” said a distinctly unimpressed Grumpy Cat. “I hate it.”

Grumpy Cat fans will have an opportunity to meet Grumpy Cat alongside her unique animatronic figure on December 8, 2015 when visiting Madame Tussauds San Francisco.

In step with Grumpy Cat’s digital celebrity, her figure will be an animatronic with five different movements. The animatronic will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds San Francisco in typically aloof fashion by Grumpy Cat herself. After a short stay at Madame Tussauds San Francisco, the animatronic will tour the remaining five Madame Tussauds attractions across the US.

Grumpy Cat & Wax Figure Meet & Greet
Tuesday, December 8, 2015 | Noon
Madame Tussauds, 145 Jefferson Street, SF
FREE but RSVP Required

Grumpy Cat’s availability for photos is very limited. However, individuals or groups (up to 4 people) who RSVP and reserve a spot are guaranteed one photo with Grumpy Cat, on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one photo per ticket.

Unfortunately, no guarantees can be made to those not on the RSVP list. Participants should furnish a printed ticket and a camera device (phones accepted). Flash photography, touching, or other animals in Grumpy Cat’s immediate vicinity will make an even Grumpier Cat, so they are prohibited.
