Iconic Tartine Bakery Is Coming to Downtown SF
The famed bakery opens its fourth San Francisco location in a historic Financial District building

San Francisco’s legendary Tartine Bakery is heading downtown. The bakery will open a new 4,000-square-foot location at 351 California St. in the Financial District, bringing its famous sourdough, pastries and coffee to a former CVS space in the historic J.H. Dollar Building.
The new location is expected to open in 2027 and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will be Tartine’s fourth San Francisco location. Another Bay Area location is also on the horizon with Mill Valley also coming soon.
