The Japan Day Festival is a day of performances, demonstrations, and workshops by Japanese artists from Tokyo, Chicago, and the Bay Area including taiko, shamisen, classical Japanese dance and folk dance, and more.

4-5 pm: Obon Odori – Bon Odori is a traditional summer festival in which families honor their ancestors who have passed on and celebrate their ongoing presence in the lives they enjoy today.
