Landmarks Around the World Light Up As Sign of Hope & Thanks
Landmarks around the world are lighting up with messages of hope and giving thanks to those working on the front lines during the pandemic.
Brazil proudly lit up with flags of countries around the world on Christ the Redeemer, the Matterhorn (yes, the real mountain) in Switzerland had an epic light up display on the mountaintop by Swiss light artist Gerry Hofstetter, Egypt illuminated the pyramids, Paris gave Merci on the Eiffel Tower, and of course, here at home, San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower and City Hall shined brightly.
