Group of robbers mob Union Square store, steal purses and leave in multiple getaway cars

Thanks to NBC Bay Area for sharing the news that a group of thieves hit Union Square’s Neiman Marcus in a coordinated effort on Monday, July 5.
A random passerby caught the brazen act on their cell phone as the shoplifters run out of the store with handfuls of luxury designer purses.
Police reported that thieves grabbed shelves of merchandize and ran out just before 6 pm, and split into multiple getaway cars. Photos from inside the store, after the robbery, show broken glass, bare shelves and security chain remnants.
Police are on the case, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
