New Mandate: 14 Day Quarantine Required for Santa Clara County Travelers
Thanks to KRON4 for sharing the news that there’s a new health ordinance in Santa Clara County that requires travelers to self quarantine for 14 days upon entering or returning to the county.
The Santa Clara County Public Health Department issued the directive which states that anyone (residents and visitors) returning to the county, who has traveled 150 miles or further, must quarantine at home for 14 days upon return.
The health mandate will be displayed and dispersed upon arrival at all local transit hubs including the San Jose International Airport.
These revised and new Mandatory Directives takes effect on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. and will remain in effect until December 21, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. unless they are extended. The directive is enforceable, but they’re counting on the public to cooperate.
