Mission Holiday Block Party

Spend your evening in the Mission snacking, sipping and late-night shopping at  independent local stores as the Mission District hosts its Sixth Annual Valencia Corridor Holiday Block Party from 6-10 pm on Friday, December 6, 2013.

Over 50 businesses along 16th Street and down Valencia will be offering live music, free drinks, live art and sale prices throughout the evening.

Highlights include:

• Accident & Artifact – Stop by Accident for a piano, voice and accordion performance by local favorite Karla Mi Lugo. There will be refreshments on offer, and 20% off books.
• Aldea – Come enjoy complimentary music, cocktails and special treats.
• Body Chemistry Studio –  live Jazz music throughout the night as well as intermittent Cabaret, Burlesque and other unusual spectacles. Free Pilates Reformer rides will also be available for the curious.
• Casa Bonampak – Live Music Christmas Blessings & Nancy’s hot chocolate with rum
• Dandelion Chocolate – free chocolate factory tours
• DEMA – the Holiday Pop Up Men’s Shop will have live music from local legends the Lee Vilensky Trio. Bubbles and beer and 20% off the entire shop
• FAZE Apparel – Up to 50% off of select items. Plus, a free bottle of Jarritos soda with every purchase.
• Good Vibrations – complimentary sweets and sparkling cider from 6-10pm and take 10% off when you spend $50 or more.
• Harrington Galleries –  hosting a D.J. with holiday dance music, serving a signature cocktail for the spirit of the evening, and some Vietnamese bites. They will be featuring a workshop on creative gift wrapping.
