Historic town of Niles turns former gas station into event venue

Thanks to the Niles Film Museum for sharing the news the adorable historic ‘town’ of Niles is getting a new vintage car club, perfectly fitting for the neighborhood.

Originally purchased from the railroad in 1938, this was the Solon Brothers Gas Station and Diner.

Niles Flying A will have old-timey gas pumps with stylish cars parked in front. No, sorry, you can’t fill up your tank here though; they’re only for show.

The former gas station will now be an event venue, as well as a car club with vintage cars and motorcycles showcasing the business. They’ll also do pre-1975 car repairs and restoration on site,  limited to club members vehicles only.
