The Dollhouse: Nude Immersive Performance Night
Sunday, June 8, 2014 – 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm
The Dollhouse | 80 Turk St, San Francisco, CA
FREE… sort of… read below.

Reserve tickets online and pay in cash at the door. Free if you’re nude. $2 “Clothing Tax” per item of clothing.

So if you just wear underwear – that’s one item of clothing and admission will be $2. If you wear underwear and pants, but no shirt – that will be $4. So we recommend you come rocking a one piece leisure suit

In The Dollhouse, experience The Gaze(s) and desire through a night of site-specific, immersive dance-theater. Enter the old porn theater. Undress (if you’d like). Sip a cocktail. Admire art on the walls. Have your body story danced. Experience pillow talk, opt out and tunneling. Slow dance. Sit in an old porn theater and watch mermaids. Happen upon strange behavior. Talk with your friends. Dance it all out in the end with an after-party, complete with a DJ and drinks.

This show is part of This Is What I Want, an annual performance festival that explores desire as a socio/political/cultural construct. Now in its fifth year, 2014’s festival continues the conversation on desire through a film night, workshops, a symposium, discussions, a solo and an interactive immersive performance.
