Thanks to KRON4 for letting us know that Santa Clara County is distributing $1 million worth of feminine period products through June 2021 for those in need.
The county is partnering with community groups like First 5 and Valley Homeless HealthCare Program to help make sure they can distribute necessary pads and tampons to 63,000 people identified as experiencing “period poverty” and no longer have access to feminine products due to the pandemic and economic downturn.
