Thanks to Broke-Ass Stuart for sharing the news that the Palace of Fine Arts will turn into a pop-up art installation in solidarity with Ukraine tonight, Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Projection artist Alan Marling and the nonprofit organization Justice Murals are collaborating to bring Ukrainian art to San Francisco on the heels of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Pop-up installations from Mystetskyi Arsenal are appearing all over the world in solidarity with peace. Last night, Ukrainian art popped up on the side of a building in Oakland, and tonight, it’ll appear on the Palace of Fine Arts between 6:30-7:30pm.

The artist, Alan Marling’s work, might be familiar. His social-justice works have popped up around the Bay Area including his famous “IMPEACH” Trump installation.
