To help draw attention to the the suffering entertainment industry and the concert, performance and museum venues that were first to close and will likely to be the last to reopen, dozens of venues in San Francisco and around the Bay Area will participate in Red Alert Live and light up red on September 1st from 9pm to midnight.

San Francisco City Hall, Coit Tower, the War Memorial Opera House, and other San Francisco landmarks, buildings and many hotels will be illuminated RED and members of the general public are encouraged to put RED LIGHTS in their windows

They want to let Congress know that they need to get back to work and pass the RESTART Act and extend and expand PUA and FPUC.

Since March of this year, their industry began a complete shutdown and Thousands of events have been canceled:

  • 77% of the people in their industry have lost 100% of their income
  • 96% of companies have cut staff

They want to light 1500 locations in RED to show the country and members of congress that we need their support.
