San Francisco Abandons Plan to Give All Students “A’s”

School officials voted against controversial plan to give students all “A” grades this semester

Thanks to the SF Chronicle for letting us know that last night the San Francisco school board officially abandoned its attempts to give students (Grades 6-12) automatic A’s for this semester and instead will use a credit/no credit policy.

The change was adopted the Board of Education meeting on April 28th after a lot of ridicule and controversy.
