San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show Announces Additional Performers
San Francisco Fleet Week has recently announced that it’s added new performers to its formidable 2021 lineup.
Produced by The Air Show Network, the annual Air Show takes place October 8-10 between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz over picturesque San Francisco Bay and attracts fans from around the globe.
Featuring a headlining performance by the world-renowned U.S. Navy Blue Angels — celebrating its 75th anniversary — the flight demonstration squadron will fly its new F-18 Super Hornet which is 25% larger than its predecessor Legacy Hornet retired in fall 2020.
Additions to the 2021 Air Show lineup include:
- U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstration
- S.C.G. C-27/MH-65 Demonstration
- C-17 Demonstration
- P-3 and P-8 Demonstration
Previously announced demonstrations and performers include:
- The Blue Angels C-130J, affectionately known as “Fat Albert,” returns for first demo since 2018 and with a new aircraft
- United will fly the 777 in a fully choreographed demonstration making San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show the only air show in the nation to feature a performance by a commercial airliner

The Festival Center on Marina Green offers prime viewing and waterfront hospitality at the center point of the show.
