San Francisco Zoo Lunar New Year Celebration

Get into the San Francisco Zoo for free if you were born in the Year of the Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002 and 2014) to enjoy a day of Chinese New Year performances and activities at the zoo on Sunday, February 9, 2014.

The zoo features interactive, culturally-themed family entertainment for all ages. Come see Chinese acrobatic performances, traditional Lion and folk dancing, Chinese yo-yo tricks and more. Zoo visitors can also take a self-guided Zodiac tour and scavenger hunt adventure through the zoo. Plus, everyone who completes the Zodiac tour will receive a lucky red envelope with a surprise inside.

  • 2:30-3 pm: Red Panda Acrobat
