San Franicsco Campfire Night

Annual free campfire, songs & s’mores in The Preisidio
By - posted 6/25/2014 No Comment

Come to Rob Hill Campground in the Presidio (yes, you can camp in the Presidio if you didn’t know) for a special journey to 1776 era Alta California with Juan Bautista de Anza and friends.

The soldados who founded the Presidio camped as they made their way north from present-day Mexico. At this event, experience a re-enactment campsite, use period instruments to map their journey, and play music from the expedition. Guests can also help put up a tent with Captain Anza and enjoy s’mores by the fire.

Bring a flashlight. Parking is limited.
