SF Grandma Flips Table to Defend Restaurant from Angry Customer
Thanks to NBC Bay Area for letting us know about a bad ass San Francisco grandmother who flipped a table in order to protect Panchita’s restaurant in the Mission from an angry customer.
The incident took place at Panchita’s restaurant on 16th Street in San Francisco on Friday night after a customer became irate when her food wasn’t ready for pickup.
The irate customer then picked up a 5 lb. bottle of hand sanitizer and threw it at manger Doris Vargas who was holding her son. But she picked a bad target. That’s when grandma of the family and owner of Panchita’s, Doris Campos, sprang to action to protect her grandson.
Campos flipped over a table and used it as a shield to protect the family and then push the angry customer away, knocking her over and out of the restaurant. Watch it all on surveillance footage from NBC
Panchita’s is a well-loved Salvadoran pupuseria located on 16th Street and Valencia.
