SF Might Reopen Bars Sooner Than Expected

Thanks to EaterSF for letting us know that San Francisco officials are pushing for bars to reopen earlier their original proposed “Mid-August” date.

UPDATE – On June 22nd San Francisco announced that is seeks to allow outdoor bars to open on June 29th. Read more.

This week the board of supervisors unanimously agreed to figure out how to reopen “high risk” businesses (like indoor restaurants, bars and gyms) earlier. And if this “attestation” is approved, then the city and chief health officer could move up the dates for reopening.
