SF’s Huge New All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Has Waterfront Views
If you’ve ever dreamed of building your own stir-fry mountain and handing it off to a Benihana-style chef—good news: FiRE + iCE just opened at Pier 39. Sea lions to the left of you, Bubba Gump to the right, and now you’re stuck in the middle with sizzling steak fajitas.
The choose-your-own-adventure grill buffet lets you load up bowls with meats, veggies, pasta, sauces, and whatever else your chaotic culinary heart desires. Then, watch the grill masters turn your creation into a teppanyaki-style feast with full-on showmanship. Think Mongolian BBQ, but with pasta and more birthday parties.
This isn’t their first rodeo—FiRE + iCE has spots in Tahoe, Anaheim, and Boston, but this is their first San Francisco location, landing in the old Hana Zen spot with serious waterfront views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate.
Expect a lively atmosphere, a crowd-friendly setup, and plenty of sizzle — whether you’re there for the grill theatrics or just want to pile your plate sky-high.
