SF’s Cable Cars Are Decked Out for the Holidays

San Francisco’s beloved cable cars are dressed up for the holidays.
You can snap a photo of the iconic cable cars in their holiday finest every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through the New Year, from 10am – 3pm.
The historic landmark cable cars will be parked at Powell & Market, accompanied by bell ringers. Sadly, the cable cars are not in operation; they haven’t been in operation since March 30, 2020 due the ongoing pandemic.
