Thanks to Mission Local for sharing the good news that in a surprise turn of events, Rosamunde Sausage Grill, a cult favorite San Francisco restaurant located at 2832 Mission Street, will reopen on Friday, December 8, 2023.

Initially, the iconic restaurant took to Instagram in October 2023 to share the sudden news of its closure on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Thankfully, the restaurant took to Instagram once again to announce the exciting news that longtime bartender Danny Mendez and his partner Sandra Pulley will be taking over ownership of Rosamunde at Mission and 24th Streets.

The lively restaurant, known for serving up 20 different beers and 15 different sausage varieties, opened up in 2010. Rosamunde at one point had several locations including its original location which closed in 2019 after more than 20 years of serving the Lower Haight. Additional locations included a Brooklyn outpost which shuttered in 2017 and an Oakland restaurant which closed up shop in 2020.
