San Francisco’s historic Great Star Theater is hosting its Grand Opening on Friday, June 18, 2021.
Built in 1925, the 500-seat Great Star Theater is the only remaining theater in San Francisco’s Chinatown.
Join in at 5 pm for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, lion dance, fireworks, and some words from the community.
At 7 pm, they’ll host their first big live show featuring Tōtum by Ballet22, which will be performing a mix of classical and contemporary ballet.
The Great Star Theater is located at 636 Jackson St, San Francisco. See what’s playing and ticket information.
