San Francisco’s first ever H Mart Korean Supermarket opened on April 21st – a 42,000 square foot location at 3995 Alemany Blvd. The store is open every day from 8am to 9pm.

The supermarket is also has a highly anticipated food hall with five Asian food vendors including Da Pan (Asian Fusion), DA S.F.C. (Korean Casual Food), Korean-style chicken with sixth vendor, Korean Bakery Paris Baguette, expected to open at a later date.

H Mart also announced everything that’s on sale for the grand opening week – valid April 21-27.  None of the deals look particularly amazing to us (Safeway and Lucky often have better prices on many of these items) but if you’re looking for papaya, purple yam, gold nugget mandarins and fresh catfish, you’re in luck!
