The Museum of Craft and Design (MCD) reopens to the public on Friday, October 16 welcoming visitors to MOTO MMXX, a show-stopping custom motorcycle exhibition guest curated by co-founder and director of Untitled Motorcycles, Hugo Eccles.

Originally slated to open in May of 2020, MOTO MMXX was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MOTO MMXX showcases twenty category-defying motorcycles from around the globe as well as sketches, renderings, and videos that unveil the creative process behind the final product. Reflecting a broad range of techniques that builders employ, MOTO MMXX offers a glimpse behind the curtain of the custom motorcycle scene, allowing visitors the ability to experience both the finished ‘design’ and the ‘craft’ behind the glossy machines. Additionally, a virtual 360º recording of the exhibition is available at sfmcd.org.

The Museum of Craft and Design is the only museum in San Francisco devoted to craft and design. Founded in 2004, MCD showcases designers, makers and artists through an exciting and distinctive series of craft and design-focused exhibitions and public programs

What about “Free First Tuesdays” The museum used to have free admission on the first Tuesday of every month.
