Thanks to SF Gate for letting us know that Toy Boat Dessert Cafe, which closed down in early June and offered itself for sale has a new owner and is planning for a reopening in about a month.

The new owners, Jane the Bakery, plans to keep the quirky vibe of the place close to the same, with the large toy collection mostly in tact.

Food-wise, they plan to keep the Double Rainbow ice cream, but will add new “grab and go” menu items similar to other Jane locations like salads and sandwiches, pastries and desserts – with everything packaged for quick, in and out transactions.
