Free admission to 13 Bay Area museums this Saturday

Smithsonian Magazine’s 10th annual Museum Day takes place Saturday, September 26, 2015 as participating museums and cultural institutions nationwide will open their doors free of charge to all visitors who register for free Museum Day tickets starting on August 1, 2015.

San Francisco highlights include the Chinese Historical Society, the California Historical Society, The Mexican Museum as well as many others throughout the Bay Area.

The Fine Print
The Museum Day ticket provides free admission to one person, plus a guest. The ticket is only good for two people per household, per address. A ticket will gain entry in only one museum and only at participating museums. If you go to Museum Day Live with more than one guest, your other guests will have to pay full admission.
