Speakeasy Tea Party by the Lake

A fun 1920s style tea party & storytelling at Lake Merritt
By - posted 7/11/2015 No Comment

Come get classy and jazzy out by the lake. That’s right, the ladies of Cuddlefish are jetting over the pond and hosting a salon-style tea party at Lake Merritt in Oakland. Gangsters, flappers, lounge singers and movie stars are welcome and 1920/’30s/Speakeasy attire encouraged.

This is a classy affair, so grab your long gloves, suspenders and bootleg flask.

In this first installment (rescheduled from April because of bad weather), the Speakeasy Tea Party will ensure that you have the lounge-iest of entertainment, the classiest of refreshments for sale, and the most comfortable digs in the park.

They will be selling tea and cookies for your enjoyment, so be sure to bring a cup and some cash and blanket or chair. This is an all ages event.
