SPIN announced that it just reopened its 12,000 sq ft San Francisco ping pong club for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. Reopening day was Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Currently there are no happy hours or special prices (so everything is full price), but SPIN told Funcheap that happy hour pricing on tables might be in the works for the future.

  • SPIN is located at 690 Folsom Street (at 3rd) in San Francisco.
  • Spin is open 3-10p Tuesdays through Thursdays and 2pm to Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • SPIN is closed Sundays and Mondays.
  • We’re assuming that vaccinations and masks are required like all other indoor bars/restaurants in SF, but they don’t specifically say so on their website

Friday Nights Pro Ping Pong Showdowns are Back.
Every Friday at 9pm, beginning September 10th, THE SPIN PROS (professional ping pong players) will be making their triumphant return. Have you ever played a SPIN PRO with your iPhone or a banana instead of a paddle? Have you ever witnessed top-tier world-class ping pong exhibition matches on center court? SPIN’s signature Friday nights are back with a bang—great music, craft cocktails, delicious sharable food and free access to communal games that are meant to connect you with your friends and group

It’s fun to just grab a drink and watch people play from the bleachers at center court, but if you’d like a reserve a table walk-in rates and advanced reservations are $49/hour (ouch!) with no discounts that we could fine. Reservations are good for up to 10 people.

Here is what to expect of your ping pong experience:

  • SPIN has partnered with AIRPHX (“air fix”) across all venues to put our guest’s health and safety first. AIRPHX uses cold plasma chambers that effectively eliminate bacteria, virus, mold and other pathogens continuously on both surfaces and in the air.
  • Vaccinations are mandatory for all SPIN employees and we will adhere to local rules and regulations regarding all incoming guests.
  • The locations are deep cleaned daily and after each individual group experience.
  • QR code ordering is in place for all food and beverage offerings.
  • SPIN monitors the CDC and WHO guidance and will adhere to state and local laws around safety protocol.
