The 36th Annual St. Stupid’s Day Parade is a celebration of stupidity on April 1, 2014.

Wear something silly, bring your solo socks, spare pennies and losing lottery tickets and gather with all the other stupids at the Embarcadero Plaza (foot of Market Street) at noon.

Tuesday, April 1, 2014 – Noon
Midweek Parade Route: Starts at Justin Herman Plaza

The sidewalk parade will proceed to make ritual stops at the Pacific Stock Exchange, where they encourage you to bring your lonely solo socks (i.e. the “sock” exchange), then to the “Banker’s Heart” sculpture to throw your pennies at it. Finally, the parade stops at none other than the Federal Reserve HQ, where you will part with your losing lotto tickets.

Odd costumes, noise makers, satiric signage on the ‘business of religion’ and ‘the religion of business’ are encouraged.
