Tadich Grill, SF’s Oldest Restaurant, Closes (For Now)

The 171-year-old restaurant closes a month after launching takeout. Plans return when indoor dining allowed

Thanks to SF Gate for letting us know that just a month after reopening for takeout, Tadich Grill, San Francisco’s oldest restaurant dating back to 1849, has shut down operations and plans to reopen when indoor dining is allowed.

The 171-year-old restaurant announced on Facebook and Instagram that it will temporarily suspend business on August 1, 2020. So it appears you still until Friday to order for takeout or delivery, but when we checked on July 30th on doordash, it was listed that the restaurant “Closed All Day.”
