San Francisco’s best tribute band, Zoo Station played its very first U2 tribute show at Ireland’s 32 in San Francisco back in 2002.

Zoo Station (voted “best cover band” by both the SF Weekly and Guardian) normally headlines at Slims, Red Devil Lounge and Cafe Du Nord but tonight as a sort of homecoming, they’re returning to the ’32 to play a free show playing U2’s biggest hits, plus lots of rarities and a special mini acoustic set.

Zoo Station’s 10th Anniversary Show | U2 Tribute
Saturday, April 21 – 9pm
Ireland’s 32 – Geary and 3rd Ave., SF (Inner Richmond
FREE with RSVP

And this’ll be no ordinary show…open with “Elvis Presley and America”? Maybe. Barely Larry might sing a song? Perhaps. They’re going to make this a special night for U2 and Zoo Station friends and fans — so post your requests at the Facebook event and they’ll see what we can do.
