Make Your Own Undies

Turn your tees into undies at a “Re-do” session.

In the Re-Do Sessions you can make new stuff out of old stuff. It’s good for the environment and your wallet.

This week, make your old tee shirts into undies. This is a sewing class for beginners and intermediates. You do not have to have sewing experience although some intermediate techniques will be taught. If you don’t have your own tee shirts to bring in you can bring some knit fabric with you.

Students need to bring their own supplies, i.e., old t-shirts or scrap knit fabrics. Students can use RPS machines for free or bring their own.

Re-Do Sessions: Tees to Undies
Thursday, September 19, 2013 (6p)
RPS Collective, 2278 Telegraph Ave., Oakland
$10

Since we’ve never heard of a make-your-own-undies class before, we think this is worth the splurge for just 10 bucks.

About the teacher: Kristi Holohan is a sewing machine human and member of Rock Paper Scissors Collective. She can help you make many many things and doesn’t get mad at the sewing machines.
