Union Square’s “Crate & Barrel” Permanently Closing in March

Thanks SFGate for sharing the news that San Francisco’s Crate & Barrel store, located at 55 Stockton Street in Union Square, has announced that they are permanently closing on March 23, 2022.
Crate & Barrel has cited that the reason for its closure is that their lease is up. The remaining Bay Area Crate & Barrel locations include Town Center Corte Madera, Walnut Creek, Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, Santana Row in San Jose, and an outlet in Livermore. A brand new Crate & Barrel outlet is opening in Vacaville on March 3, 2022.
If you’re looking for a deal, you might want to stop in. In an effort to help liquidate its remaining stock, the store is rolling out sample sales.
