Ready for a fun, casual foodie scavenger hunt?

Every year, 7×7 magazine comes out with the 100 things to eat in SF before you die. Join this unofficial “Big Eat” Food crawl, totally unaffiliated with 7×7, but just a group of hungry people who love exploring SF’s food culture.

The crawl starts in Dolores Park on February 17, 2013 at 11am. Want to eat a Banana Cream Tart at Tartine (pictured)? Lamb Shawerma at Truly Mediterranean? Spicy Miso Ramen at Ramen Underground (Pine & Eddy)? Pot Pie at Comstock Saloon? Where you go is up to you.

Sunday, February 17, 2013 (11am)
Meet at Dolores Park, SF
FREE, but pay for your own food.

How will this all work?
Each group of 4-10 people will get the official 7×7 list, but it is up to you to decide how many and where you want to go. You’ll need to find your own way around (walking, biking, Muni… unicycle?), but all the restaurants the organizers picked are in the Mission District area.

The organizer’s mission in life is to fearlessly spread creativity and joy, and this event may or may not turn into a contest to see which group can try the most number on the list in one day. Details are still being worked out, but you should come with a group of friends, some cash and an empty stomach. Get ready for a day of gluttony and fun.
