Berk’s massive new mural debuts at the future home of World Famous Hotboys in downtown

Walnut Creek has a brand new mural entitled “Flowers for Walnut Creek” outside the former home of Mel’s Diner located at 1394 North Main Street.
The huge bright mural is painted by Berk (Berkvisurals) and features images of iconic Walnut Creek public artworks like the controversial love-it-or-hate-it Fountainhead, Hand of Peace, and the quirky Bullman with Bulldog, all of which can also be found downtown.
The new artwork has debuted ahead of the opening of the brand new fried chicken restaurant, World Famous Hotboys, in the former Mel’s Diner location. See a cool timelapse of the painting of the mural on the historic building in the video below, along with an interview with the artist.
