San Francisco filmmaker Kyle Hanson McKee seized the opportunity when the skies turned hazy to make a unique short video, The New ‘Normal’, featuring roller skater Toya Willock. The film was shot on the eerily empty streets in downtown San Francisco.

Shot in early September when San Francisco was consumed with smoke from surrounding fires, the haze-filled alleys and empty streets transform the city into an eerie playground for the roller skater to roam.
