World Pumpkin Capital Half Moon Bay will present its 46th Annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off.
The Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off is offering a special $30,000 mega-prize for the world record-breaking pumpkin at the prestigious Half Moon Bay event.
The current world record pumpkin is 2,624 pounds set on October 9, 2016 by Mathias Willemijns of Belgium at the Giant Pumpkin European Championship in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

FREEThe Goliath Grand Champion Mega-Gourd (along with the top four overall) will be on display at the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20, 2019 from 9 am to 5 pm on historic Main Street. Festival goers can get their photo taken alongside the grand champion gourd.
