The 15th Annual Bay Area Classic Yo-Yo Contest is coming to Spreckels Temple of Music Bandshell in Golden Gate Park on May 26, 2012.

Over 100 of the top yo-yo competitors in the West Cost (including Yuuki Spencer who will perform a trick demonstration – watch this amazing video) will gather in the park to test their skill, swap tricks, pick up the latest gear, and compete for more than $3,000 in cash and prizes.

Want to try your hand at some yo yo tricks?
The yo-yo vendors and experts at the Bay Area Classic are usually willing to give you free yo-yo lessons and teach you a few tricks if you just ask. Bring your own yo-y0 if you got it, but there’s usually a few loaners about and there’s also some cheap beginners yo-yo kits for sale.
